I received some beautiful yellow roses for Mother's Day, I have 3 godchildren. These and a bottle of Prosecco were from my nephew and his girlfriend for Mother's Day (another M) and as a thank you for helping them with sorting out the cat's operation. Not sure if you can see the texture in the petals on the rose, I've never noticed it before. I'm sure if I look closely there will be an author whose names starts with M in that lot.

Finally, for now at least, I have a sad one, M for Memorial. I've posted this before, it is for a young woman who was murdered and we go passed this every time we go to the hairdresser's. We always say God Bless to her - her killer was never found.

Oh yes and the craft shop is still open so I bought a new stencil which I can't wait to try out, a pretty pink Promarker pen which I don't have in this colour and was searching amongst my pens yesterday for a nice pink. An embossing folder 8x8 and a new knitting pattern and extra long needles, two pairs. In total with 50% off it came to £12. They had a number of the Kaisercraft Collectible embellishment packs for £3 each but only Christmas and I wasn't sure if any of you would have wanted them and didn't have Alison's phone number with me to check either. We did have a coffee and hot cross bun, well, it was BOGOF. Hubby was gutted that I actually wanted a coffee and bun but I was so cold and needed a hot drink.

Lovely roses. Such a fabulous colour. Cute dog as well.
It’s been horrible here this afternoon, rain, hail and very cold and windy.
Been to a garden centre and couldn’t find one thing beginning with M worth photographing.!
I had forgotten what the others were

Ellie, I didn't venture outside at the garden centre. Hubby went to find some tumbling toms to do our blind trial with ours. They'd sold out apart from yellow ones and I think that would defeat the object of the trial. The order for farmyard manure hadn't arrived so we came away with nothing, apart from my crafty items that is.

I believe people were scraping frost of the car windows this morning, not that I'd know about that of course.

It's not your fault we have rubbish memories Mary and it's a great prompt. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Hope you feel better Mary. No, it’s not your fault, they are good prompts, but at
the garden centre all I could remember was M. Then as soon as I got home I
remembered the others. Hence the sign Mind you it’s not only me who forgets things.
DH was waiting for a phone call, but had to go out, and he forgot to take his phone,
    and his wallet with him

How lovely Ellie. I have a texture one too, one of my many, many throws, not sure where this came from but when sister stays and she want to have a sleep in the front room I throw this over her.

I took it close up so you could see the actual texture, it is very soft and warm.

M is for Medallion and I can't believe that I did the M for Memory Walk in Memory of Mum only 6 months before I had the relapse last year.
