I missed the hands one. Yes they are youthful. Wish mine were as smooth.

Poor Jeff I bet that hurt, and milk is so hard to clean up. It smells if it’s left.
Hope you’re not so achy now.

Only time will tell with the milk, we will know if it starts to stink and then it will be time for new carpet. This carpet is destroyed between having the dogs in when they've had surgeries and then they end up sleeping in there and hubby spilling everything he can think of, no wonder it is ruined. We don't want to change it until we decorate and we don't want to do any of that until the dogs are gone. That sounds awful but if one gets ill and has to sleep in the bedroom they will both have to be in there and they'll never sleep on the landing again. So, for hopefully a few more years yet we will have to put up with our messy carpet. We had it cleaned Christmas before last but my beloved has worked his magic on it since.

I've never seen a hyacinth that colour either Mary it is quite spectacular.

I've been trying a bit of blending with stencils today, thinking of the card prompts and Mother's Day but I'm off to finish knitting up this baby jumper. Did I tell you I sewed the sleeves on inside out last night, not once, TWICE! Unpicking them was a nightmare because I'd made such a great job of sewing them in. Dad always said never work when you are tired you will only make mistakes and boy was he right.

Morning snappers (just) Oh Susie I hope you DH will be ok, why are men so stubborn????
I had my 3 friends round this morning for card making and we had a really good laugh, and they all really enjoyed themselves and made 2 cards. Since then I've carried on doing my sorting - still loads to do but definitely making inroads into my stash and craft room.
I think it's time I put the laptop down and went to bed otherwise I won't want to get up when the alarm goes off.

Managed to stitch up most of the jumper but had to leave it to eat and then we watched a few episodes of the series Dirty John. My sister told me to watch it and it is quite unbelievable, despite being a true story.

So glad you had a nice time with your friends Sheila, nice to have someone to craft with and great that you had such a good laugh, it all makes it so much fun and does you the world of good.

Nurse Ellie has given me some great advice re: hubby's bang to head, he seems fine. I'm hoping it's a case of where there's no sense there's no feeling. I must drag him off to get his blood tests done next week just in case this occasional dizziness is to do with his kidneys, I'm sure the PLD is, it is one of the triggers. I'm also going to get him in for an eye test. A bang to the head could cause problems with the retina and his vision is fine but he could easily have a vitreous detachment from it. My sister has just found she has one and the ophthamologist said it may have been triggered by her jumping down off chairs when she was putting banners up for her son's 30th birthday. It happened the same day or day after. Anyway, better to be safe than sorry.

That first sentence is so badly worded, sounds like the jumper was having something to eat.

Morning all. Thanks everyone..it is a hug to die for Ellie..and the hyacinth is just beautiful isn’t it.
    Hope DH is ok Susie.
Mary you do have young hands..mine look much older than yours..I’ve always had old looking hands and I have loads of liver spots!
Sheila it is so nice you have local friends to craft with. Well done on the sorting. Shame I don’t live closer I am itching to help sort it out! Lol my own crop starts on the 16th..shame you don’t all live closer as you would all be very welcome. I have 16 confirmed people so far! I’m a bit blown away!
The little room at the back of the house is where our boiler lives Denise. You can’t access it from the main house so it’s just a boiler room. DH uses it as a potting shed. He has a decent bench in there and has all his seedlings under the window you can see. We have ordered bifolds to go it where the exterior door and window is.
Some ‘folds’ photos from me..I went to John Lewis yesterday and took them
