It’s been raining heavily here, but no hail or snow. Good photos.
That is a good price. Round here the ones like mine are anything between
13- 99 and 16-99. Why are they so expensive. They are not hard to grow,
and I’ve transplanted some of my seedlings and they have grown quite happily!
I like the colour of yours.

I've ordered some from the TV place, we've bought quite a few plants from them and all very successful. They are a mixed bag and after that I will let them seed naturally. Just planted up the Californian Bluebells, blue and white Californian poppies and Cosmos and I'm off to pot on my tomatoes next. Off to The Range and Wilko's tomorrow for a cheap propogator so I can keep my tomato plants undercover indoors but don't think they'll need the heat by then. At the moment I've cut the tops of water bottles and inverted them and they fit of the pots perfectly.

Here is the set of stamps, let me know who wants them. You can fight amongst yourselves. I've put the ruler against them to give you an idea of size overall. The pocket watch and key will be very useful especially for a heritage type album, not the word I'm thinking of but you know what I mean.

Nice stamps Susie. I think I have got most of them, or something like them, but I’m
    sure someone will use them.
I thought that you might have had snow in Skipton Mary.

    I have something OLD
MY Grandad was an Electrical Engineer, laying communication lines across Canada in
    The 30s I think.
He sent this letter to my dad. I only have a little of it now, it’s very fragile, and
it’s written on tree bark and it’s a drawing of one of the Indians called
Roaming Fountain and also his baby called Little Fawn.
In the letter he says he’s been shooting, and bagged a deer
He says it’s getting very cold , so he will have a coat made of the skin, to
    keep him warm.

I would like to know how you store it too as I have my great-grandfathers Indenture papers from the 1800's and they are so folded and stuck with sellotape and extremely fragile. I was going to take them to the Liverpool Conservation offices but not sure if you can just visit now, I'll have to check. They are a lovely piece of Liverpool history and that was how I found out my great-grandfather was a ward, as it mentions his guardian on the papers. Just checked and due to government budget cuts it was closed back in 2010 it was the National Conservation Centre.

    Morning.
Love your money note too Susie. Indentures are interesting, don’t think my family have any, my auntie has lots of stuff. We do have an old family tree, I’ll see if I can get a photo of it. Such a shame the conservation centre closed down.
I started looking back at other posts but got called away last night mid flow ! Elaine, that is a fabulous wedding photo. My grandmother had a similar wedding dress. Just love seeing the whole group on your photo.

You’ve got me thinking now, I have lots of old photos passed down from my auntie, will get some pics......

    Morning all
We are all so lucky to have interesting pieces of family history, don’t we?
The Grandad who wrote that letter is the same man who’s photo I showed you,
when he was on horseback ,in the army,in France.
I don’t know if I store it properly, but it’s inbetween 2 pieces of acid free card, and in
    an acid free page protector.
Shame that office has closed Susie. You could always get in touch with your local
Museum, they might have some ideas.

An Old photos of my Great Grandma , Mary Ellen in all her finery, and one of
my Great Grandma and my Grandma, Eleanor May when she was about 9/10.
So I think it was taken in 1910/11.
