I think it is a gorgeous card Ellie and I would have cut the frame in white too because it gives it more of a snowy wintry effect. By the way, I had to Google whether it was wintry or wintery because although I wanted to write the first one I was wondering why we always take the letter e out. You'd think I had nothing better to do. Leave your card alone, it's beautiful Ellie.

Thank Susie. I will leave it as is.
Might make another one and colour the bird in for a bit more interest

If you stamp it in brown and just colour the breast red you have your Christmas robin. It is beautiful either way Ellie. And you say I'm too critical about what I make, pot, kettle, black!

Here’s the card again. I haven’t put sparkle on the die this time.
There’s a bit on the branches, but it doesn’t show in the photo.
    I’ve coloured the bird too.

That is lovely Ellie and I can see the sparkle on the branches really well. I love the way you've got those little touches of green in there too.

I had to go back and check but now I've seen this one, I prefer it too. Both great cards, this one just has the edge over the other and it isn't just the robin it is the background colour that I love as well. Two more Christmas cards done Ellie. Anyone who hadn't seen the second card would be delighted to receive the first one, only we know.

Well done Ellie love thr latest how you coloured the holly
Which pens or what do you use to colour with
I like the 2nd one of the robin card i think with stamping colouring often need a 2nd card i like the silver mat and the colouring has made the white die stand out and the red breast matches the wording
I think you cracked it with that one I would if if you need more cards make more of the same of that one
I often think if i make a winner I will make more but don't

    Thank you ladies.
Wendy, I found it stamps much better on a stamping platform, than a block.
You never seem to get the right pressure with a block.
    I do like the. Stamp.

Denise, the holly was just dabed with an ink pad, and glitter added .
I coloured the Robin with a Stamping up pen.

Ellie, if you haven't tried this, I had an idea for your card above. Have you thought of stamping onto an ivory/cream card and have an ivory/cream base card, gold mirri and that stunning holly as you've done it already but onto the ivory with all the gold edging and glitter. It's just a thought, you can tell me to shut up if you want. After all, I'm just making work for you.

You're right, the stamping platforms make stamping a whole different ball game. Are the holly leaves a die or did you fussy cut them, they are lovely and that's what made me think of the ivory/cream touch? Sorry! How did you do the berries, because they look so real?
