    Enjoy your G&T Ellie.

I have been out in the garden and I can't find a single flower with 6 petals so I have found a couple of other 6's. Also I went with a lot of white flowers this years, so it won't be a flaming June for me I'm afraid. I just noticed this photo in my downloads. I don't like dates on the front of photo's and you can see by the date it was taken 3 years ago. My niece was married on the 6th day of the 6th month and her bouquet and bracelet have pearls, so I'll post that and a few others for now.

This bracelet looks nothing in the photo but it is really beautiful IRL. My friend brought it back from Cyprus and everyone who saw it wanted one - tough luck. If you look closely you will spot as I did a mound of dog hair which needs removing. The stuff gets everywhere.

Finally, I'm doing a Mary. I took this because the droplets looked so wonderful and so precarious.

Alison, I can't believe you mentioned Gnomeo and Juliet and then this popped up in my Inbox.

Oh you have been busy Susie. Lots of nice photos.
The flowers and bracelets are gorgeous and the raindrops look like jewels.

No Sandra, I wonít fall down, im as sober as a judge
I decided to have a coffe and a chocolate instead!
Boring, I know, but in the end I didnít fancy it. Thereís always tomorrow.

Susie, Iíve got a lot of white flowers this year too.
Two pots that DD potted up for me are all white.

Great minds and all that Ellie. I've made our circular border all white too, that has the new Star Jasmine in and I've just thrown in lots of white begonias and bush lobelia to fill it up. The tubs have white Cosmos, bush lobelia and white impatiens.

I love the bracelet, it really is very pretty, far nicer than the photo for some reason and it makes me think of my friend whenever I wear it. She died very suddenly, it was a huge shock and she was such a lovely person, with a wicked sense of humour. We met when I went to work with her and she was an ex-policewoman and we were doing a YTS scheme at the time. I was having a break from my usual job and this seemed like a good idea. My first thoughts of her were, "I'll never be able to get all these girls to listen to me like they do with her" and her first thought about me was "I'll never be able to tell her a dirty joke!"

We became such close friends so quickly that we didn't want the weekends to come round because we enjoyed being together so much and we had such a laugh. I've never enjoyed work so much in my life. There is a LO in my gallery that I made after she died, I really must do some more.

I hoped this was going to be full size, never mind, this my friend Val or as hubby would would say when she rang - "Your big mate is on the phone" she was tall and I am small. I still miss her.

And the necklace I made to wear at my son’s wedding it is truly lace and I sewed pearls sequins and beads on to it. Such a shame I had to wear it over a sling as I broke my arm the day before the wedding

Lovely LO Susie. Such good memories though.
Like the sound of your borders. They will look lovely when in full bloom.
Can’t wait to see the photos.

Mary, the crosses are beautiful , and the necklace is amazing.
How long did it take you to make ?
Sorry about the arm, not good timing, as you say.
    Ellie
