Wow, you have all been so busy. We are house sitting only the key doesn't work so we are busily trying to track down family, no joy so far. Off out now so will check in on all the fantastic photo's later, you are all doing wonderfully well.

I donít have six eggs ! All my hens have gone broody, it was great for a week or so they were laying quite well but they soon go broody - stupid birds, Iím not having bantams again, back to regular brown laying hens when this lot die off .
Good to see us all thinking creatively for the 6ís ! Hereís a six letter word from me...

    I have 6 hens, and 3 cockerels !
I’m no vegetarian but I couldn’t eat my own chickens. To start with I’d have to kill them, and you know I can’t do that as I still have 3 stupid cockerels Also I don’t think there’s much meat on them to make it worthwhile
We used to have silkies, they got broody pretty quickly too but not as bad as this lot .
What lovely names for your hens, mine are just brownie, blackie and Whitie, brownie/blackie and the boys are cockie ! not very original I know. The two young ones have better names - Gnomeo and Juliette - Lizzy named them and absolutely loves them!

Boy, have we just had a crazy heavy shower of rain, we now have more puddles than we had before it came down so fast ! Hopefully they shouldn’t stay too long in this heat.

That is bad Alison, dull but dry here so far.

We went to Costco and it looked like a swarm of locusts had hit the food so we bought Prosecco instead.
