I feel like I've missed something here, Susie I would be interested in the card you are talking about, so if they can do bulk, let me know. I'm going to another card w/shop tomorrow afternoon so will put some pics on here when I get home. I love those dies Susie, and your card is beautiful Ellie. Love the engagement card you made for DD Alison. I've got to start crafting again soon, got lots of occasions coming up. I'm soooo glad I am not going away on the cruise in 2 weeks, I want to stay home and sort stuff out and craft.

Just to let you know ladies, if we buy in bulk it won't come in the inner white box with the plastic wrapping because each of those boxes costs more and adds to the cost, he does that at his site, it isn't how it arrives from the manufacturers. It will arrive in a cardboard box but he's said it will be well packaged so not to worry about that, but I didn't realise this was how the price could be reduced and I didn't want to mislead anyone. It doesn't make any difference to me but you needed to know.

Thanks for that Susie. It doesn’t matter, if it keeps cost down.

That’s a lovely card Alison. Hope you had a good day.

That is a gorgeous card and I hope you've had a gorgeous day.

Alison, if it came damaged I'd be the one on the phone like a shot. If I could find a cheap way of getting it to you all, I'd have him send it here, as I kept all my white boxes over the years and store cards and card stock in them. I'd be happy to pack it in the boxes and send it on. It makes it easier for him as he thought he was sending it to me and he was just going to mark each 150 sheets after he'd counted it.

Does anyone know a reliable delivery company who don't charge the earth, especially as card is heavy stuff? Cheapest starting price I've seen is £5.99, his company is £6.50 up to the equivalent of 750 sheets of card stock, which is heavy, trust me. It was a bit cheaper but everything is going up. Even when we had snow hubby said they'd blame it on Brexit.

Oh just had a thought, we have a regular delivery driver (well we would for all the craft stuff) we're on first name terms now, he might have an idea what they charge.

You won’t get a decent delivery for much less then 5.99. We have accounts with DPD and Parcelforce, they’re £4 to £5 plus VAT, I’ll double check the rates on Monday when I’m in the office, and check price for third party collections too.
I have also used parcel monkey and parcel2go to get quotes online, they show all the options available. You usually need parcel weights and dimensions
I wouldn’t consider Hermes or yodel

Just checked and his delivery charge is not bad. Hermes charge £6.49 up to 5 kgs and each box weighs almost 2.5 kgs. the other thing is, he would charge to send it to me and then I would have to charge to send it to you so it would probably work out far dearer and we don't want to waste that discount we're getting. Ah well, it was just a thought.
