    Morning all
I did my first performance of Strictly come Prancing last night..it was ok..but could have been better. We couldn’t hear the music very well so the prompts we needed were masked and we missed a couple of cues. All in all it was OK. I hope it’s more polished by the 28th. Trouble is I’m away next week and someone else is away the following week so not sure when we will be able to get together all of us again.

It represents a bird nesting box and birds nest in spring. I wanted to use it as I think this month’s colour will be green

Oh that is just lovely Mary. What a gorgeous shade of green.

Another one here who wants to see either video or photo's of your Strictly Elaine. I'm sure it was better than you think it was.

Our garden looks horrendous, everything that was flowering last year looks half dead at the moment. Hubby is out putting ericaceous compost on the evergreens and the blueberries to see if it will bring a bit of life back into them. The Peiris definitely needs it.

I will dig them out from last year Mary and then try and get photo's from this year, same time and everything is awful.

Meanwhile, I bought myself a present and I want to share it. Nothing to do with the prompts but... some dies for 81p. Okay the postage was 1.50 but even so they cut and although I didn't actually emboss them, they emboss beautifully too.

I think you're right Denise, I'd bet the audience enjoyed it and do you know something if something goes a bit wrong it adds to the entertainment value. People aren't there to criticise, I think you're very brave, try to just enjoy it.

They will be useful Denise and at that price it was worth taking a chance although the reviews were very good. They came from China!

The Dies look nice Susie, and at that price you couldn’t afford not to.

BTW my Blueberry Bush is in bud already, so when the weather is a bit
better I will have to top up the soil abnd give it a feed.

That is the one thing that is thriving in the garden Ellie, the blueberries, they are well on there way with masses of buds. The big bush produced fruit right through to August, so much, it was amazing. We half expected it to die this year because sometimes when plants have a bumper crop like that, they suddenly peg out. Anyway, it looks healthy and we bought three more last year so we may get some nice fruit off them this year. We also have our cherry trees (fruiting kind) so it will be interesting to see if they produce anything too.
