There are about 5 different patterns maybe more in that paper and I do love ditsy florals. I've found a berry paper in the right shade by Pink Petticoat so I'll have a look through and see what else I have.

Love your card Ellie, beautiful. How did you get the blue splodges on the embossed card? Love all the other cards on here. Susie the papers are lovely but I don't know who makes them. sorry. Hope you find something you like. I must get making myself and put some on here.

That is so pretty Ellie! Is that gold glitter I can see on the embossed background? Love the way those three little pearls echo the dotty background too, I just love those sort of details.

    Thank you ladies.

Sheila I just dropped some spritzing ink onto the embossing.

Susie yes it’s Sparkles you can see. A bit of Lime Green and some Rose Toffee.
I’m not a blingy person, but I do love a bit of sparkle on cards.

Hope that you get a response from someone about the papers.

I have thanked you over on the sponsors thread Elaine, but thanks again, they are so crisp and pretty. They look more of a French Navy really but I'm sure Sarah will be able to tell me more.

Should have known that Elaine would recognise them It is a lovely set of papers, shame it’s discontinued.

Lovely card Ellie, you seem to be in a blue phase at the moment and that’s a very pretty blue.

    Ok ladies, I need advise....
My BIL has been diagnosed with bowel cancer and is booked in for surgery on the 25th, what sentiment do I put on a card - ‘thinking of you’ ? Get well soon doesn’t quite seem appropriate.

Oh Alison, sorry to hear your news, have they given him a prognosis? I can remember thinking with my dad having seen the tumour for myself that it was not good. They removed about half his bowel, he was fine and I nearly fell over when the consultant told me he would make a full recovery. He was right too. I hope this is the case for your b-i-l.

I think Thinking Of You or perhaps on the outside a Just To Let You Know... and inside we are thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery. It all depends on what he has been told so far really. You're right, get well soon, doesn't fit the bill but you can wish him a speedy recovery from his operation. Hope that helps to point you in the direction you feel is right.
