    April Blog Bits and Blog-a-thon

With huge apologies for the delay, here we go with April's Blog Bits. Let's start with a beautiful page by wendy house who shows you don't have to have an expensive machine to make lovely cut outs. If like me, you haven't a clue what to do with acetate, pop over to ScrapHappyNiki's blog for some fabulous inspiration. This month's theme at UK Scrap Addicts is 'sewing' and you'll find a new post there most days. I love the Amy Tan On a Whim collection and spent rather too much on it recently with sponsor Hey Little Magpie, but it is delicious; see for yourself in the blog post by Rachel. If you need a sketch to give your mojo a kick have a look at LittleChubblies and MiniOwner's blogs; you'll find a ton of sketches in past posts on both blogs. Have you seen the new Katie Skilton die sets by Sizzix? You'll most definitely want them when you see CoventryAnn's page - adorable!

As usual, in my tour around the blogs, I came across some super projects for swaps here on UKS. Violaceous is taking part in a hand made project life card swap and I wouldn't be at all sorry to receive LemonBlossom's February themed tags nor Soojay's for that matter. Staying with Soojay, don't miss her quirky Wonky Tonk girls; I love them! Sutty has shared some altered art for her wall in gorgeous bright colours and efemera has the cutest little Easter chicks in eggs.

My favourite colour combo at the moment is yellow ... and grey ... and navy ... and black and I was pleased to see a pile of cards by Here be Dragons with a yellow theme going on and just look at MysticNat's beautiful yellow moodboard and don't miss the card! YorkieMomFlUSA has shared a very special anniversary card which is lovely both inside and out; she has amazing attention to detail. Some very pretty cards in this post by crafty72 (with some layouts worth a peek further down the page) and I adore the hare on scrapmate UK's postcard. Lots of great cards to be found on Redsquirrel's blog, too; I especially like the easel card with the camera.

Finally, a very generous share from sponsor Crafty Templates who recently held a cybercrop; CraftyPrincess has linked all the classes and challenges in one post for us to use if we'd like. Thank you x

I have checked all the links but they do sometimes have a wobble when I copy them across to General Scrapping. Please PM me if you spot a broken link
