I'm not sure about this one. It's got red on it, but it looks a bit dull!!
I haven't stuck anything down, so please feel free to make suggestions

Yes hope everything ok Susie been thinking of you today
I lost the IMT thread will go have another look for your cards there
I love this one Ellie such an inticate pattern yes its a difficult one to add to I would be tempted to put something in the centre but it would hide the pattern keep it out on your desk and glancing How about something on the red circle going around flowers maybe or that might look too much
Or how about a sentiment Happy birthday ??

maybe some red pearls on the red ring? Or a banner across the base with a sentiment? It does look nice as is, though!

Ellie, what about embossing the background card. I often find when it looks like a card needs that elusive 'something' a bit of simple embossing does the trick. Gorgeous die cutting and lovely colours. I'm sure it will hit you in a blinding flash of inspiration.

As for the health, well, not sure what's going on. They want me on aspirin and statins but my last doctor told me they wouldn't take statins, didn't believe in them. I read an article once that said there should be a large notice in every doctor's surgery saying 'Women Should Never Be Given Statins'. I wish I could find that article now.

Apart from that I might have a leak from a mitral valve, so have to go back for a heart trace, but fortunately, I'm at the GP's tomorrow so perhaps she will help me make some sense of it all. Here's the odd thing, they don't seem to think the chest pains and breathlessness are to do with the heart from what I understand!!! Thanks for thinking of me though.

Thanks for the advice ladies. Will play about until I'm happy with it.

Susie, hope your own GP can clear things up for you today.
It's always worrying when there is so much information to take in.
I always forget what has been said!!!
My DH was put on statins, and after a few weeks ,all his joints
started to ache, so they changed them. Then his feet felt as if they
we're on fire all the time, and he started to loose his upper body strenghth.
Well, that was it for him. He stopped taking them and he returned to
normal health , and was happy again.
Talk to your GP, then decide what's best for you.
Hope you can get things sorted...
    Ellie.

Ahh yes maybe a bit embossing thats subtle when a fancy die good idea Susie
I heard too about statins its so hard as all tablets have a side effect I have white coat syndrome I am afraid
I was looking at the Tim holz whats it called thats coming out soon its like a large see through 2 pltes you put your stamp and paper inbetween and suppose to get a good image everytime I do find my stamping hit and miss and usually a miss if stamp direct when you only get one chance
Do you go to the stamping fair at port sunlight Susie its on twice a year ?

Well I took your advice and embossed the card, I changed the red paper,
for another die and not as red . Then added a tag and rose.
Still haven't stuck it down ,so could change it
    What do you think?

I think that's perfect Ellie. The embossing lifts the background and with the white message it draws it all together. I have that embossing folder and I love it, it just gives that added touch to the card.

Ellie, I have constant muscle pain and weakness with the M.E. so I don't want to add to that. I've recently read that sometimes when you come off the statins that pain still doesn't go away, the damage is done so to speak. Don't think I can take a chance on making my body feel anymore wretched than it does every day, especially as the more you read about the medical findings on statins makes it look as though the drug companies are the people who really benefit from people using them.

Thank you Susie, I think I will stick it all together now

I think you are right about statins. You don't want to aggtivate the pains anymore.
It took DH about 4-6 weeks to stop having the pains, but he's ok now.
A friend of ours also took them, and he got very bad muscle pains, so much so
that he couldn't lift a full cup of tea, without it hurting. So needless to say, he
    came off them too.

That's fab, the embossing really makes it
I think the effect of statins varies enormously from person to person plus it depends which ones you get given. DH has no problems at all now, but they had to take him off the cheap ones which everyone gets prescribed initially, and put him on some more expensive ones.

I bought a new embossing folder and die, yesterday.
Ive taken photo to show you. I have gone over them both with
an ink pad, blue and charcoal. But it just looks so messy!!
I don't know if that is the idea or not.
I just put the die on to show you what it was like.
I like the die, but boy did it take some extracting from the die!!
Thought I was going to tear it at one bit
    Ellie.

If you want a cleaner image you could try brayering ink over one side of the embossing folder and then running it through.
