The main thing is your happy with the final result Ellie. I try to salvage everything but sometimes it feels great to just throw it in the bin and start again. I don't worry about the paper but at present I only have genuine Epson ink in my printer so I hate to waste the ink. It has gone up by £10 a pack of inks in the last few months and it's actually cheaper to buy them separately at times.
Yes inks are expensive Susie. I use canon in my printer. I don't know how
much they are now because I haven't bought any for a while.
I expect they will have gone up too.
Ellie.
Two cards from me, a Christmas one and an Easter one.
Both have red on them.
I should have stamped the rabbits higher up, and then
cut off the LOTV logo. Only just noticed it... Duh!!!!!
Ellie
Oh I absolutely love them both Ellie. Fantastic images! I love the way you've matched the dotty paper in the parcel to the dotty background paper. Also love the edging on the Easter card, is that a punch or a die. Both so pretty! Where did you get the images from?
Thanks Susie. The paper is a freebe in a mag, and the image also.
The Easter one is a Lily of the Vally one, I just coloured it in and stamped the rabbits,
or I think they are hares. The border is a punch, I've had for years, unfortunately I
have now broken it!!!! I think I tried to punch thicker card, and it just came apart.
So it is no more

oooh so much to catch up on!!!
I succumbed to that Happy Anniversary die, well it was the first one that came up when I searched, so it was obviously meant to be It is our wedding anniversary in March, so I must use it for DH's card :-) I have also bought some Sue Wilson dies this month..... Did you look at the Tonic Celtic layering set Susie ....?? Mwah hah hah.....
Had a happy time paying with stamps and ink yesterday at a crop, will upload to I Made This when I get the photos onto the PC later this evening.
Yes I've seen it Wendy. It's nice, not sure I'd use it though. I've got one
similar.
Well we have all owned up to how long we have been married, now it's your
turn Wendy.. spill the beans
Happy Anniversary for March
Ellie
Which Sue Wilson dies have you bought Wendy, I love her dies?
I haven't bought the celtic dies but Tonic had a set of letters and numbers which I bought since I was being given another £5 off by a certain TV channel.
32 years this March
SW dies - an older one called Gillian and three newer ones Lucy, Olivia and Jessica, I think these three are from the newest collection.
I have posted two cards on IMT thread, one engagement and one birthday More Tonic Celtic Dreams temptation Susie!!!
Congratulations for your anniversary in March Wendy!
I will not be tempted, I will not be tempted... this is my new mantra!
I love your scrapbook LO's as well Wendy. I really have to get back into my scrapbooking, just don't seem to find the time I have so much I want to do.
Off for results on my heart tomorrow and then back to the doctor's on Wednesday, it all takes up time when I could be crafting.
We had been doing some clearing away and part of my Christmas present (ooh a gift) must take a photo for the other thread. Anyway, as I was saying part of Christmas present was a TL tote and glass mat and TL ribbon box with dies and all sorts of odds and ends. This was a bargain because it was on offer (I probably mentioned it) and bought it for about £26 for hubby to give me, it also had bow makers in with it as well and dies, it was such a bargain. The ribbon box I've only just assembled and I've also bought two shallow boxes which hubby is going to get some spindles for and make into ribbon boxes for those ribbons that are on smaller spools. This is all in an effort to tidy up and clear out my craft room.
I've also found a big box of Christmas gift tags for kids which would be great as Christmas card toppers. My neighbour's grand-daughter who is the most adorable 4 year old is encouraged to craft by her crafty mum so anything I find like that goes to her. So first thing her mum said to her little girl was "Oh we can make Christmas cards with them' - exactly what I had in mind.
I'm off to fill my ribbon box and then see what else I can give away.
Your Christmas present does sound like a bargain Susie.
You will have plenty to keep you occupied there.
When I have a clear out of craft stuff, I always take it to the church at the
top of the road. They have what they call Messy Club, where little ones
can get creative, and they are always greatfull for what I take.
Hope you get some good results tomorrow, and at the doctors on Wednesday.
