Alison your baking photos are so cute
Love your selfie Susan you look all snuggly and warm perfect for a winter's day
I've found another photo for the green/red/gold, this time red I cut the bottom off a red pepper and found almost another one inside, I've seen little bits before but not as much as this, looks a bit like a cabbage rose to me. Red Pepper.jpg
Thsts a great photo Mary.
Here is my selfie..and one of my Mums hands.. I'm substituting it for a busker. I have an idea for a layout featuring her hands. I almost cried when I took this photo..it bought home how close I was to losing her recently. She's had to remove all her rings recently because she's all skin and bone now..she always wore 11 rings so to see her hands so bare now is quite upsetting.
I've also included the gold one. A bookend that I am currently altering. It's now painted white and grey and I am distressing them.

Elaine I have a lump in my throat reading about your mom's hands
Me too. Sending you a hug, Elaine x
You reminded me of a photo I took some years ago of four generations of hands, my mum, my sister, my niece and my great-niece. The baby hand is Sophia and she is coming up 10.
great photos Elaine love the hands one made me smile that most of your photos are either on their side or upside down, mine do the same so I have to put them in another programme and repost them from there a pain as it takes time to do.
I've lost the will to live to try to get them the right way round Mary. Most of mine are up the right way for me but there are two sideways ones for me..but I know it's because I load from the iPad and I just don't have the inclination, or time,to mess about with another programme..they'll be up the right way on my layout so that's the main thing..lol
Fab generational hands photo Sue
Fab pic of pepper Mary !
Elaine, lovely idea with your mums hands. Lizzy is fascinated with my mums hands, may have to get a pic next time I see her fab idea with the generations pic sue
I had to smile at your bedtime photo elaine, I'm picturing you taking a bite of the crumpet then suddenly thinking - ooh I need to take a photo of this !!
Photos going wrong way round is to do with how mobiles/tablets takes photos. A lot of sites now have technology that means it detects which way round a photo should be but many don't!!! I found that even if I download from phone to laptop and then upload to UKS photos will still go wrong way round my way round it is to open the picture in paint and slightly resize it save and use that image. Oh only know all this cos I googled it!!!!
Thanks Sandra. I'm sorry if they are upside down for some of you but it's the only way I have time to contribute. When I eventually do my blog post they will, I'm sure, be up the right way.
