I have posted some of the cards I made at the weekend, over on the "I made this" cardmaking thread..... I did also start a blue one, but haven't got it finished yet :-)
Just love those cards Wendy.
Alliums are one of my favourite flowers, as are Agapanthus.
I really like the embossed resist one, such nice colours.

Well, as usual I've finally made a card but not with the 6x6 paper I planned on using. In the end I printed a piece of card stock the Niagara blue or as near as damn it, but it is completely different to what I intended. I always seem to do that and waste so much time trying to make things fit. Even managed to use a couple of new dies!!! I'll try to get a photo tomorrow. I made it into a Thinking Of You card because the colour doesn't fit with the birthday's I'm doing. Oops, sitting here looking at the card and I've just spotted the deliberate mistake!
Looking forward to seeing it Susie.
I do that. Try to make things fit, because it's there!!
In the end you finish up making something completely different.
What was the mistake?

Mind you, you are going to love this... so I showed the card to hubby as I always do and I was explaining that I had sanded the top layer to reveal the colour underneath and blow me didn't he only say "So you distressed it". I couldn't stop laughing, he even knows the correct terms now, God love him.
Anyway, I should have a motto/mantra to say, the first piece of paper I pick up to use is not going to be the one I work with, then I won't waste all that time staring at it and trying to figure out how I can make it work. I do it all the time whether with cards or scrapbook pages but I fall for it over and over again.
They are all just lovely Ellie. Fabulous view on that first one, it reminds me of some mountains we drove over in Spain. That's a really pretty background paper on the second one and I love the hexagons in the third. Is that a hexagon die with flowers in it, the grey flowers I mean, the other flowers are so pretty.
I love the vibrancy of the last card, very clean and fresh and springlike!
By the way, you won't have to scrutinise much, there isn't that much to see on my one and only blue card.
I forgot to take a photo of my card until just before and of course we are already losing the light, I will be so glad when the light nights are here, anyway here goes.
That's a lovely card Susie. Like that colour blue.
The Thinking of You die looks quite delicate.
As for the deliberate mistake.... is it that the bottom corners
should be the other way round? If it is it's not that obvious.
The photo card is of the Great Dividing Range in Australia.
There are some lovely views up there, and so peaceful.
It should be The Blue Mountains, shouldn't it, but ironically
they don't look blue. Well they didn't when we were there
Yes the hexagon ,is a die with the grey flowers in it.
I don't know what it's called, because I made it at a craft class
in Oz last time I was there, then forgot about it. But I thought
that the blue fitted the challenge.
