    September Blog Bits and Blog-a-thon

Hello and welcome back to Blog Bits after our summer break. I hope you've joined in or been following our Summer Snap! Challenge - it was great fun! If you missed it, watch out for the Winter Snap! Challenge launching on January 1st!

    Layouts

So, without further ado, I'm going to kick off this month with some of the pages from the Snap! Challenge; the first is this striking page by elainevking featuring a photo of herself and a selfie scrapped to perfection by ScribbleMonster. Scroll down to see Michele's gorgeous page with a large photo; the backberry background is just delicious! Our final Snap! Challenge page comes from Maggie B who has met the 'use 6 or more photos' challenge with a fab page. If those have whetted your appetite, do visit the Snap all Years gallery but make a cuppa first, enjoy a good browse and maybe leave a few comments, too? Moving on, sponsor Wearcraft shares a super page using free downloaded papers and, staying with Wearcraft, I love the gate diecuts on this vintage-style page. There's a great double layout on Celtic Angel's blog and, to finish, if you like a sketch to wake your mojo have at look littlechubbles and Miniowner's blogs.

    Other projects

Returning to the Snap! Challenge, cheekymole has put together a super page of photos from a trip to Barcelona, made all the more interesting by her commentary. While surfing the Snap! Challenge blogs I chanced upon a fabulous blog, Normandy Life, written by Maggie B, a super example of blog writing; I love the mosaics of photos. Check out elainevking's gorgeous frame decorated with clusters of scrapbook embellishments and also newtoga's beautifully stamped tea light holder. Always on the lookout for ideas for male cards I was very pleased to find this 18th birthday card by CoventryAnn and in contrast some very pretty wreath cards by here be dragons. Soojay has some lovely hand-made jewellery to show us on her blog and while you're there scroll down and look at those fabulous blue tags in the next post made for the UK Scrappers August tag swap. Also for a UKS swap, I love lemonblossom's dragonfly postcard. And finally, if you'd like a break from papercrafting, Misteejay asks if we fancy getting out our knitting needles and has given us a pattern for knitting phone socks.

I have checked all the links but they do sometimes wobble in the transfer to this thread. Please let me know if you find any broken ones.

Don't forget to claim your 20 bonus points if you are mentioned in Blog Bits or you make anything inspired by this month's Blog Bits.

Please do PM me any links to your blog posts if you have something you'd like to share - I'd especially like to find a few more cards and also to feature some new names.
