Had a nice surprise this afternoon

had a bouquet of flowers delivered to me - haven't had flowers delivered for years - have taken in neighbours flowers as most people around here work during the day - just couldn't understand why someone would send me flowers - opened the card to find they were from my wonderful hubby who had remembered that tomorrow we met for the first time (as adults) (we went to infant and part junior school together) 40 years ago - so a very special anniversary (which I hadn't forgot but didn't think he would make anything of) IYKWIM

wanted to share my beautiful bouquet with you all

How lovely! It's funny, isn't it, that WE tend to remember those non-traditional anniversaries (no cards for "Anniversary of the first time we met (as adults)" are there LOL!) and yet we are so surprised when the men in our lives do!

    He's a keeper...

Gorgeous bouquet btw. love the combo of colours

Wow! how lovely - both to receive the beautiful flowers AND the fact that he remembered.
