    *NEW* Simple Recipes February 2016

    Hi!
This is the first of the new look Simple Recipe worksheets to download. This year Simple Recipes is a simple 1. 2. 3.
Step one is the colour palette to help you pick out your page 'ingredients'. So you go through your supplies and pick out bits and pieces based on the colours. There’s also an image to pick out things like patterns or themes from if you wanted a bit more inspiration but it's not limiting so you can grab any photo you want to scrapbook.

Step two is sketches. There are three sketches to use, one a Project Life spread and the others full size pages. You can use more than one or mix them up if you like to mix in Project Life style scrapbooking with regular full size pages. Using your kit picked out with the same colour tones will help you to make mixed up pages too.

Step three is techniques. In the older version of Simple Recipes we had a new technique every time to learn that used up supplies you already have so this has come back this year. You can use the techniques to make page elements to incorporate into your project.

That's it, as usual super simple but hopefully works to get you kick started on some projects.

Press here to download the Simple Recipes February 2016 worksheet to your device in PDF format.

You can keep the worksheet digitally on your phone/tablet etc. or PC or print it off to use. When you've made a project don't forget to share it. You can upload it to the UK Scrappers gallery within the Simple recipes gallery here.

You can share via the UK Scrappers Facebook page here, https://www.facebook.com/UKScrappers.co.uk/

You can also share via Instagram using the hashtag #simplerecipesUKS

Please remember unlike the UK Scrappers gallery which is just open to members Facebook and Instagram sharing is open to all so only share images you're happy to share online with anyone.

If I can I'll try to embed the Instagram and Facebook posts here so we can all see what we're sharing together in one place too.

    Have fun!

Can I ask a question do we need to do both techniques ie painting frames and the string/twine heart? or can I just do the painted frames?

Re read the instructions and not sure that I've even done the frames right I painted some actual frames and then backed them with woodgrain pp. Maybe I need to read the words rather than just look at the pictures

Using both techniques - no just one is cool there's more than one so you can pick and choose. I think for your points collecting so long as you make a Layout based on Simple Recipes in some way then you're good.

Thanks Leonora, I have risen to the challenge! I got a pile of old papers I haven't used and pulled all those in the colour pallet and set to work! Here is my layout.
