Cheap alternative to Teflon Bone Folder

    TEFLON WHITE HARD CARD SQUEEGEE

I have been looking for a teflon bone folder but they are difficult to find in the UK and, as you know, terribly expensive. This teflon tool from Amazon UK makes a great bone folder. It gives a great fold on my 300gsm cardstock, much better than my normal plastic bone folder and does not leave shiny marks on the cardstock.

This is a great idea. Teflon folders are great but really expensive ... off to look now.

    Thanks

Wow - that is a great tip! I have been using an ivory coloured bone folder from Tonic I think for the past 15+ years, it has definitely served me well, but it's starting to age a bit and I've been considering the Teflon bone folders but they are so expensive and I'd much rather spend that money on inks/stamps. Will definitely have to consider this - what is the size of the squeegee?

I use a seam roller for hanging wallpaper, it's easy to use, cheap and great if you have dexterity problems. I do have a bone folder though, mind you, I have no idea where it is. Funny how we all have our different ways of doing things. I wonder why this post has popped up when it is over a year old.
