FAO Pink Pig
Pink Pig you asked if the PixScan mat could be used with the Curio, I've just seen the PixScan for the Curio listed on Graphtec's website although it say's out of stock.......which could mean either it's sold out or more likely it hasn't arrived yet.......so it seems the Curio will have it's own PixScan mat

I think that was me Doreen. I realised when I went onto the Graphtec site that the Curio will need its own PixScan. I have just ordered another embossing mat from Graphtec as I had a bit of a disaster where it cut out my letters when I wanted to emboss them and cut out the shape they were in , as I was using thin gold coloured paper , some of the mat came out when I took the paper off the mat.

Ooops sorry I've edited my post. Oh no. I'm a bit worried about cutting on that mat so haven't tried it yet

It was my fault- I hadn't remembered how to use tool 1 to emboss and tool 2 to cut. On my second attempt I chickened out and embossed and then cut with tool 1. I need to study Brian's video on the bookmark where he shows how to use tool 1 to emboss and tool 2 to cut.I was able to pause and then stop the project as soon as I realised it was cutting the writing, not embossing which minimised the damage.
