First projects with my new Curio - going to love this little machine. For the box easel card I used Coredinations card and sanded - so many possibilities.

Oh wow Shirley - how lovely! I didn't realise the curio was available to buy in the uk yet. Could I ask if you had the larger base - just wondering if it would be worth the extra outlay.

The Curio is avaible from today but bigger base isn't available yet Sylvia but I think it will be worth the outlay.

I have to be patient and wait until they are on Create and Craft. Thanks to your link in your other thread I read on Silhoutte UK's Facebook page that Graphtec are in talks now with C&C.

I got one early to test Doreen - bit of a learning curve but I'm loving it so many features although only have the embossing/debossing tools at the mo but the pen fill options are great. If you look at the text on my cards that is done with a pen fill.

Oooo Shirley how lovely to "test drive" one. It looks like it's a whole new machine to learn. I assume you received a disc so you could update your software for the extra options you have with this machine if so did you have to uninstall the version of Studio you already had or install over top like you do with an update. Sorry for all the questions but any extra info you can give will be really helpful.

I did get a disc Doreen but I don't think there will be 2 different versions when updates are available as it works fine with the Cameo and my DE is there, it's just that you can't use the extra options unless you have a Curio plugged in.

Thanks for this Shirley - I hope the curio will be on Create and Craft soon because I've got a £10 credit to spend on there! Would the software work with version 2 of the studio software (I am unable to cut from version 3) and also do you need to have the DE version? Sorry for all the questions Shirley.

You don't need DE version but I'm pretty sure you need V3 of the software - you could always check with Graphtec
