    Challenge #9: Get Interactive!

Challenge #9 is to get interactive. You could use a pocket, a flap, hidden journaling or whatever you like really as long as there is some sort of interactive element included on your layout.

Challenge #9 is worth 20 bonus points for your team if you are a points-collector. Please share your layouts on Instagram using the hashtag #uks2014summerscrapbookingchallenge and/or in the UKS dedicated Gallery.

I've had a pack of Heidi Swapp Colour Magic Memory Files floating around my craft room forever (well it feels like forever) so I decided to use those to create a very large flap to hold additional photos and journaling. I had a quick look around and found a layout of Heidi's where she'd done the same but kept the flap in place with another smaller memory file. I didn't have any small memory files, so I used a couple of large Project Life cards instead:

Nancy has also done a sample layout. She says:
"I knew I wanted to include four photos from the same day on the LO, but they did not really go together as two were landscape and two were portrait. I ended up making a layout underneath a layout, I stuck with my normal style of clustering. I used a pencil to mark out the top layers and made sure I kept everything under the flap. You have to keep in mind that both sides of the piece of paper will show so I found something I liked both sides of. I used mainly the Basic Grey Highline collection and a couple of bits from Alison Kreft."

and has also put together a process video too:

See you shortly for Challenge #10...

Here's mine, the journalling is under the 'family of 7' card, which is a flap to fold back.

    Loved this challenge.
I made large flaps attached at the top with brads. Loads of photos and journalling included in the extra space produced by the flaps.

    Here is my LO.
