    Adhering to micro bead background?

Friend had mastectomy yesterday so thought I would do a series of ATC's for her rather than one card. Have micro beaded a stamped background and stamped an inspirational phrase onto acetate but can't get acetate to stick to microbeads - tried cosmic shimmer and my trusty, fail safe, glossy accents - nothing sticks the acetate down (or the paper butterfly either). Will anything stick to micro beads? Thanks Rose

Could you use an alternative fixing method such as brads? Or take the acetate around to the back of ATC and fix it there (you will need to score it to get it to bend around)? Or a blob of silicon on each end and something on the acetate to conceal it? You could try roughening up your acetate with sandpaper/nail file in the spots where you want glue and trying glossy accents again.

As I am visiting my friend in hospital today needed a quick remedy so I used my Tim Holtz Tiny attacher staples but I like your acetate wrap idea so might do another series of ATC's using that idea. Thanks

I stuck the beads onto acitate using pva glue as it dried clear and then used brads to hold it on the page. I did not cut the letters out though, i just kept it on the acitate and used it that way.
