    Glitter Card and Dies????

Hi All. Does anybody know if it would be ok to use Spellbinders or similar dies in the BigShot with glitter card - not the 'encased' type but the type that "sheds" glitter IYKWIM?

These dies are not cheap so don't want to blunt the dies as it would with CR blades.

I thought maybe protect the cutting pad with a paper shim and cut into the back rather than glitter side of the card?? At the moment I only want to use it as mats anyway.
    TIA for any advice.

Hi. There are two types of glitter card - one where the glitter does not come off the page if you rub your fingers across it and one where the glitter does come off on your fingers - it is this type that I am talking about. Also - I would be using my Big Shot. not electronic Thanks for answering.

I've heard several demonstrators say dies aren't sharp they cut by pressure so I guess you wouldn't blunt the dies.

I have used both kinds of glitter card in the Cuttlebug with Spellbinder, Marianne, Cheery Lynn and Di'sire dies and they have all been fine.

Just make sure you cut through the glittered side before the backing !! Otherwise you get straggly bits.....
