pictures into shapes

Hi guys I am new to this but have got my cameo cutter have have done some great things with it so far but I cant seem to be able to put or drag and drop a image into any shape... my screen just fills up and not the shape

Now is it because I am using the basic software and have to upgrade to the desinger software or is there away it can be done

If I'm getting what you're trying to do, try this. Get the shape on the page, get the image on the page, select both and Merge.

The image can be re-sized and positioned first so you get how much or which portion of the image you want in the shape, have a play.

Other people do it other ways but that's what I would try first.
