I found this mesmerizing. I had no idea the sprays could give such rich and vibrant colour in a waterbrush. Fab.

That mask is super cute and way more useful that ones cut from magazines, for example (the first tut I saw was done that way) but what I would say is if you are dying to give it a go, cut one from paper or out of a mag then if you love the process, buy the mask. I often cut silhouettes (like a whole page of them) from an SVG file I have, but they are one of two use only then I have to bin them so it's a right pain. I've not seen this sort of silhouette mask before so it's a real bonus to not only be able to reuse it, but to make it do double-duty by using it as a mask then "stamping" with it.

Thats what I was planning to do Maryanne but I suspect if it works for me that stencil/mask will be winging its way to my craft room in the near future

Perhaps the mask would last longer if you cut it from acetate? Gwen xxx

I've got a hot stencil cutter thing and have cut out silhouettes from acetate.

Haven't looked at the video yet (posting from work) but Dyans techniques and videos are always fab
