Next month DH is going to be driving a steam train and I have been searching desperately for some pp which I could use to make a mini book for him. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
many thanks

Hi
I have Swagger from Fancy Pants, a great masculine range, but you might also really like this gorgeous train paper from My Mind's Eye.
Kind regards,
Janine
A lot of the simple stories papers are quite dark/masculine - although I scrap my husband and son's using a lot of Echo Park and My Mind's Eye ranges, just avoiding the very flowery/butterfly papers and using the more neutral colours.
I find papers featuring cameras very useful for the three men in my life... I am especially fond of Mama Rizzi by Bo Bunny at present. It has lots of camera quotes and I find it suits so many occasions.
Another vote for the mamma razzi2 papers by BoBunny, lots of cameras so perfect for any subject and all greens and browns and yellows and a bit of vintagey sale that would go with trains....park bench by Fancy Pants is also nice blues, black and yellow and Teresa Collins has a 'he said' collection and her 'far and away' collection is great for men too...hope that helps.
A really good resource for male papers in general and train type stuff in particular is Rob Addams 'Mechainicals' CD. I have made several 'male' cards/memory books using images from this disc.
I love Mama Razzi2, I love Basic Grey Hipster. There are some nice images of trains on the G45/Echo Park Transatlantique too. I think the Echo Park lends itself to mini book sizes too! There are probably loads of freebies on Pinterest too if you look over there - but I suppose I should say pop over here www.wearcrafts.co.uk to view the ones I mentioned in our paper and card section lol! Happy scrapping and good luck, jenx
