Help!! does anyone have v 1.9 or v2 silhouette studio - need to convert my silhouette studio files to svg and cant find it anywhere - i design for well known download site - no advertising but would be more than happy to recompense with few free designs if anyone can help me with this

Have you tried a Google search? You should be able to find a Designer Edition v1.9 download.

What a pain. There must be quite a few people who would like the option you mention. Could you try taking a screen shot and tracing it in Inkscape..... it's free software and can be downloaded

DO you have a cameo?? if so have you checked what version you got with it as they were v2

I am sure the download is ok but I would be careful as I had an old website that I didn't use and it got hacked and I started getting emails about virus for things I had never put on my server - also it is a strange site for someone to be giving software downloads from --

Thank you Dianefor that link. I have occasionally wished that I had that version but couldn't find it when Googled. Haven't a clue how to run 2 versions but I'll worry about that when I need to, enough for now to know that I have it. Thanks again.

Sorry to be thick, but why would you want to run two versions at once?

In those two versions, there is a way to save studio designs into SVG format but this has been removed from later versions of the software. If you don't need or want to export to SVG then you'd have no need to run 2 versions but if you have a second cutter that runs on software that handles SVGs then it may be something you would consider rather than pixel tracing in the other software.

just noticed this - how do you run 2 versions at once - just installed 1.9 on a separate computer and works like a dream re saving as svg (I'm so happy!, made my week) - but it would be easier to have both on the laptop
