    June 2013 Simple Recipes

The June Simple Recipe worksheet is attached to the bottom of this post ready to download and start using.

A couple of weeks ago I made my first Christmas card for 2013, I also got my first peek at some of the new Christmas scrapbooking supplies that will be previewing at the next upcoming CHA show - this got me thinking. I bet you like me have a stash of Christmas/Holiday supplies that haven't been used up right? Including photos that have yet to be scrapped? I think there's a window for Christmas/holiday crafting and once we get past that those project get shelved 'for later'. Well this month I'm setting you the challenge of making that 'later' now. So as an extra added ingredient for this month use your 'shelved' project photos. They may be Christmas ones like mine or they might be others that have been too long on the 'to do' pile.

The other added ingredients for this month are:
    - Use washi tape. I know lots of us have this now and there's lots of coveting going on so it's an excuse to get it out and have a play this month.
    - Use patterned alphabet stickers, (I went for woodgrain patterned ones as they were a nice neutral but see what you have to use up in your stash).
    - Use something from your new summer stash, (mixing in something new and different to your older project supplies is a great way to give you ideas and get you looking at it with a 'fresh eye').

Here's the colour combination to base your page kit on this month:

This is the page kit I made guided by the colour combination and added ingredients:

Don't forget to download the worksheet, attached bellow to see the finished layout sample for this month and sketch to work from.

    Happy scrapping!

A photo that I've not been able to scrap until now of our nephew Nick & my gorgeous cocker Ben (who went to sleep for the last time in January) taken last August.

Thanks for a great challenge, this was a shelved project so thank you for giving me the boost to get it done Shop til they Drop

I used the ice blue colour way, patterned alphas and some washi, but I didn't manage to fit in the summer stash.
