I looks like they've been accused of breach of copyright or something similar, I did see a thread on 2 peas a while ago where they mentioned some similarities of their latest PPs to another designer and posted some links... I have to say they did have a point!

Still, they were great PPs, they had a great design team and I am sad they are no longer.

I was wondering what had happened to all the papers on the shop site. It seems a bit of a dramatic and quick decision, (as they just sent out emails about another new line just coming out this last week) but I guess we don't know all the details.
It's a shame I liked their design team work too and the 30x30 mag.

Just looking at the links now and I was skeptical at first because it's easy for things to look 'similar' but at least one of those patterns, (with the triangles on) is a straight up copy.

the chevrons one is remarkably similar to the pages in the michaels recollections kaos journal ( think michaels own brand smash book,i work there so i see it a lot!) but eventually with geometrics you will find they all look similar. a chevron is a chevron right?

that said those papers, do look a bit more similar than most!

It all seems a bit sudden and a shame. There always seem to be a lot of similar designs - we were just commenting on this at our recent retreat. Some of the papers even have a similar 'B' side.

Strange...more to it than they are saying, perhaps???

Was it not them that had the sweary word stamps as well? Think they caused quite a bit of offense. I read about this on two peas at the time and remember thinking that they were very similar

Judging by some of the information that has come out in the past couple of days it looks as though its one person who is responsible, none of the design team have known about it and some sort of agreement has been made with the designer whose designs were replicated. All seems a bit of a mess really and there's lots of angry postings about it on various forums.
