Rectangular Nesting Shapes and Layered Toppers

This topper was designed with the DM software. It is made up in 3 parts, the fleur de lys edged mat, the ribbon mat and the lattice mat.

I cut the 3 pieces of the design out first, then in a contrasting colour cut just the outline so that I could make each section of the design a double thickness. I did cut the entire ribbon section out, rather than just the outline and threaded the ribbon through the double thickness. (I used concept 160 gsm card which is a little flimsy but always cuts well).

Then layer the 3 sections on top of each other with 3d foam, finish with a few mulberry flowers. I've stuck a few seed beads on to dress it up a bit and I think it makes a pretty topper. I was quite pleased with it!

I have converted the file to GSD, but I haven't cut it so I hope it is OK

    Rectangular ribbon mat

These mats are quite useful and sit nicely on a 5 x 7 card. I've put some Faerie Poppets decoupage on mine for my granddaughter's birthday next month. I have "cuttlebugged" the smaller mat and of course the whole thing is decorated with beads as well. Hope someone can make use of the mats.

Well am I getting the hang of this now, some rectangle shape toppers. Hope they are useful to someone. Sorry about the glare, for some reason I can not do screen prints, so had to take picture with camera. Cheers Aussie Vic

A6 Fancy Edged Cards with Matching Nesting Shapes

I've put this file together as a set it contains - 1 A6 card blank, 2 sets of nesting shapes oval and rectangular, the card can be used whole with the nesting shapes

    Attachment 132385

OR you can place one of the nesting shapes centred on the right side of the card and cut that as an aperture.

Don't forget the larger of the nesting shapes can be used to cut an aperture in the card.

A6 fancy edge card set 4

I was going to upload this nearer the weekend, so I don't drive you all mental, but what the heck.

Newbies you can use one of the larger nesting shapes to cut an aperture in a card by centering one of the larger nesting shapes on the right hand side of the card and then sending it to cut, no welding require.

To convert this file to a GSD, open the file in Inkscape and save as DXF to load and cut in RoboMaster, simple

A6 Fancy Edge Card Set 6 and 7

I should be doing other things, but what the heck I can't be bothered so here are 2 cards sets each one has - 1 A6 card and 2 sets of matching nesting shapes, oval and rectangular.

They were made using the same edge shape and I flipped it to make the other set.

Any of the nesting shapes can be used to cut an aperture, by centring it on the front of the card and sending to cut.

To convert this file to a GSD, open the file in Inkscape and save as DXF to load and cut in RoboMaster, simple
