    October Simple Recipe

    Hi
We've got another Simple Recipe for you and this month it's been put together for you by Craft Island

Katy Hedger from the Craft Island design team has worked on the recipe samples and kit for you this month and here's a sneak at one of the fab samples she's made to inspire us:

Here's a quick run down at this months colours and added ingredients but download the worksheet, (link at the bottom of the post) to see the complete recipe.

    • Use check or stripe patterned paper
    • Use a tessellating pattern or feature on your page
    • Use felt or fabric embellishments

    Have fun this month!

Thanks for another great challenge. I used some very old stash mixed with my last Quirky kit as well as scrapping a photo from a few years ago.

What a great idea to use Tessellations, I am short of time this month so I have combined the simple recipe with a CC class and designed my own patchwork LO with a triangle and Hexagon tessellation pattern, I have used the colour scheme, included striped PP in my scraps and added an orange felt flower -hope you like it.
