A class suitable for both new and experienced scrapbookers. The ‘techniques’ for this class are embracing ‘white space’, painting chipboard and making your own embellishments.

    LIVE Tuesday Oct 30th 3pm - It's A Mystery! by Voodoo Vixen

A mini book using a paint and tissue paper technique that looks like well worn leather on the cover. Using a different method for attaching pages to the covers so that anyone can do it without the need for any specific book binding tools and with the addition of drawers in the base to add interest.

Now We Are 10! CyberCrop classes

Gorgeous kit by sponsor Dawn Inskip, free to UKS members only until the end of the CyberCrop on 4th November. You will need to click {link removed - kit no longer available} to automatically download it as it is 70+ mb (I DID say it was generous!) and too big to add to the forum.

Download the class notes, and then pick your template to download and create a digital page. Doing the EARLYBIRD CHALLENGE will help. The old CyberCrop class covers using a layered template and is suitable for complete newcomers to digital scrapping as well as experienced digi-scrappers!

If we really can't tempt you to give digital scrapbooking a go, you can use the template image like a sketch, and print out the kit elements to cut out and use on a paper page. See the post Not Ready for Digi? for new freebie elements and a link to the old digi-bits on UKS.

There is a generous coupon included for a discount at Dawn's store (limited time only) so if you have a bash at digi and find you like it, this will help you stock up on digital stash!

Sunday Nov 4th 10am - Take A Letter by Nerlly

This class is designed to use up all those alphas you just can’t get rid of. If you’re anything like me, you can’t bring yourself to chuck them out but however hard you try you just can’t create titles that use them up quickly enough.

The solution, I decided, is to journal big and drop those spare letters in wherever you can. So for this class I’ve created a layout with a small photo and a focus on what I have to say about it

Sunday Nov 4th 3pm - A Clean Sweep by Fizzydrink

So as we turn the final pages on the story of the UKS 10th Anniversary Cybercrop, it's time for A Clean Sweep!

Gather up all the debris and remains of the crop from your crafting area to leave it like a blank page ready to be filled again. Let's see if you can put all those snippets and scraps to good use in a final layout.

This class takes your leftovers and shows you how to make them into rows of perky chevrons, to frame or back your photos.

If chevrons aren't quite your "thing" there are two bonus ways to sweep clean your scrapping space.
