Are you ready for a little something different for July? This time I'm setting you free... well, just a little bit!
For your supplies, you will need:
1 full sheet (patterned or plain) for the background.
SCRAPS! Everything else we use will be scraps and off-cuts. I suggest choosing one colour and then setting aside lots of scraps in that single colour... though you could use multiple colours if you like. But nothing new - only bits and pieces that are left over from other projects. That's the deal. Whatever shapes and sizes they may be.
With this project, we will focus on getting more use from the tools in our collection, so if you have punches, dies or stamps that you keep meaning to use but don't, grab those and we will put them to work. Or you could use your favourites, of course. You can use a digital cutter if you would like... or you can cut with scissors... and for lettering, if you would like to use stickers you can, but if you want to cut them from paper or stamp them, that will work too.
CAN YOU COPE WITH THIS MUCH FREEDOM? Ha! I did promise each month would be something different, after all!
For your photos, choose the size and number YOU like best. I will be using two 4x6 in the same orientation. That's my favourite!! But if you have another favourite, use that. It's important that the photo size and number be something that is normal and useful for your scrapping.
I think that's it for this month's preparation notes. I'll see you on the twentieth with our twenty-step tutorial for July!
