sorry - I've been bouncing around and far too cheerful for my own good today, but wanted to share here as well.

I had my copy of Scrap365 come today and I'm in it. The best part - it's a whopping four page spread for the Journal Journeys series... four pages of art journalling! From lil ole me! Next time you're in WHSmiths or where ever, pick up a copy and take a peek at pg10.

Sorry - it's not a brag, but I am genuinely chuffed to bits.

He He Vicki. I would never run a shop, but I'm very glad you do (and for the love hearts you send out). I hide them under all the crap on my desk and whenever I tidy I get a nice surprise - sounds like I hide them on purpose, I don't! I'm just messy!

Talking about your shop I bought one of the liquitex paint dropper [things] and love it. Might just pop over for some more!

Congrats on the article, loved it.

Has anyone else created using their gelli plate? - would love to see what you do.

Your desk sounds very much like mine...but without a hidden stash of Love Hearts! At the moment it's also got scraps of canvas and thread dumped on it after making a new journal. Bit of a frustrating experiment on my part.

    Glad you liked the article!

I have cracked open my gelli plates and made a teeny background for one of the pages I've made for the journal I made. I will take photo's and will blog them. Haven't really had much chance to play though and we've had a plethora of "technical" problems this week, ending in my laptop being sent off for repair today. One of those one thing after another weeks. Very depressing. I'm having to use DH's at the moment and it's all small and feels odd as mine is one of these massive screen jobs (mainly so I can see everything).

Better get on with some work, got some new stamps to upload. Half the delivery has gone walkabout - wondering if they'll blame the floods in York for it even though they both boxes landed in York at the same time and one has been delivered.

It's really nice to see that journalling of this type is being taken up by the scrapping magazines, they go together so well. Well done on being published Vicki.

I've just come back from the Call of the Wild retreat it was absolutely amazing. There were four art teachers from the states and 60 women all congregating in Somerset. One of the teachers there was Teesha Moore and even her husband Tracy, another awesome art journaller, accompanied her. Would really recommend a retreat to anyone who's feeling 'stuck' with their art to get the creative juices flowing again. It was an incredible experience.
