Thanks Louise. I was almost afraid to read what you posted because in no way was I dis'ing any of you OR Shimelle - you all did lovely work, but I just don't favor it. I Kept looking and I just cannot embrace this look. But in all honesty, I really do think we learn as much from what doesn't please us as it does with what DOES.
But, I'm a glutton - I may try the challenge again, just "fixing" what is not working for me personally.

Sherelm, don't apologise for not liking a style. Grab the opportunity to make it your own! If you would have preferred a mat of patterned paper that's what you should've done, no-one would have been offended I promise you. It's great that you've had such a great learning experience about your own style.

What I love about classes like this is seeing how everyone interprets the class, some stick to it religiously and faithfully produce every detail (I do this often), others turn it upside down, back to front and it's virtually unrecognisable form the original (I'll occaisionally do this ) - as long as you have taken inspiration from it and produced something that you like then the class has achieved what it set out to do.......inspire!

Thanks again for the support of you ladies. I really should have tried to do a little more my style with it, but then it really wouldn't have taught me what it did.
And I loved the last challenge (when I joined you guys) and plan on attacking the next one as well!

BTW. . Am I the only American "playing" here? Just love you folks!!!!

Hi All, this was not my normal style either, but I like playing along with this challenge. I liked the mix of stamping and cut out paper, but once I started cutting I couldn't stop, so I have adapted the design slightly. I also, finally got to use a tiny tiny butterfly punch that I have had for ages.... I also adapted the photos because my DD's have been having pretend photo shoots at home with a big white bed sheet, all by themselves and they are proud of the results so I have hundreds of photos to use up now! 3 down... 97 to go

I wasnt too sure about this LO when I first saw it but thought I would take the elements I liked from it and be inspired to try something new. So this is what I did:-). I loved stamping on my LO, even though it was a little scary!! I am pleased with how this has turned out:-)

Really enjoyed this LO, although got a bit messy with the stamping (hence the strategic little flowers!!)

    ANFSDC - March

This was a really different way to plan a LO. I think I am going to use this idea over again. I love stamping on my LO so this one really appealled to me!
