    ANFSCD 03 :: Get Ready!

    Welcome to March!

    For the March project, you will need two 4x6 photos - either both landscape or both portrait. The sample project uses two portrait images, but can easily work two two landscapes if you prefer.

    For supplies, you will need
    Three patterned papers: one multi-coloured design, then two single-coloured designs that use colours included in that multi-coloured design. I'm using papers from the Garden Cafe collection by American Crafts, with a multi-coloured floral with both burgundy and teal in the print, then a single-colour print in burgundy and one in teal. For the multi-coloured design, choose something with separate motifs rather than an all-over repeating pattern.

    One sheet of cardstock in a neutral to match: if your patterned papers are white based, then white cardstock. If they are cream based, then opt for cream cardstock or something like kraft, dark brown or grey if you can't get a good match.

    Label stickers. (I'm using labels from Jenni Bowlin Studio.)

    A stamp set with a variety of sizes and shapes. (I'm using a set from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline collection.)

    Stamping block and ink to use with the stamps - I'm just stamping in black ink but you can use colour if you prefer.

    Baker's twine or embroidery floss in a colour to match your patterned papers.

    Small shapes you can punch or die-cut: I'm using a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and a Fiskars postage stamp punch. But you can use any two shapes you like layered together, and they can be cut with punches, scissors, die-cutter, electronic cutter, etc.

    So that's all for now! I'll see you again on the twentieth for this month's project!

    I have been assembling my supplies ready for tuesday - I have unearthed a whole pad of K & Co Hopscotch to use. How old is that ???
    Do I get a prize for using the oldest papers - or a slap on the wrist for not using them already?
    Anyone else going to use old stash ??

    could be a bonus for me - I always struggle with titles (I'll not own up to having at least 5 or 6 LO's still waiting for titles!)
