New Version of Studio

When I downloaded the latest version of Studio on my laptop I got a lot of new cutting files but when I downloaded onto the PC I didn't get them. Does anyone have an idea why?

If it's the extra files you need to do File/preferences/advanced/ restore original 51 designs

It's in Advanced Preferences, Restore the initial 51 designs.

I've still got the original files but not the new ones.

You will need to do what Lucille and I suggested to get the other files

I've no idea why your laptop treats things differently, only that with the PC you have to download them yourself from Studio preferences, it isn't automatic.

I got them on my laptop the same way as it's done on the pc, the way described above

I know I am being a bit slow and not wanting to miss out on anything ........... which/what library files are we talking about??????
There were the original 50 from the Beta versions of Studio, which we don't have any more unless you saved as separate files - or am I wrong?
There were the 52 files when v2.0 came (starting with balloons, banner etc)
I have now got the latest version, done the preferences>advanced etc and still only got the 52 v2.0 files
Someone please sort me out ............... before they take me away!!!!

Yes Doreen - and restarted the computer in case that was required. If you only added free download files with each version of Studio how many files should I have in total?

You should have 102 files in total in your library after doing the File preferences thing Sue
