Rosie I also have the spiral bound one which I was drawn to because of the ability to decorate the cover which I have. I haven't managed a page in it yet as I'm still workign through my lovely leather bound hand made journal but I love the idea of tying things to the spiral spine.

I did see the Moleskine yesterday, adn I thought it was wicked. I'm going to have to get one now - although they'll be small pages it feels very acheivable.
I was surprised that it stayed as a book cover, I just presumed that the covers would be on each end IYKWIM.
But I like it - I think I can put public pages on one side, and private ones in the back - that way if I tuck the last page into the pocket, my private thoughts stay just that x

Sian is that the lovely leather one you picked up in Glastonbury - saw one on your blog. Got my green eyes going when I saw it!

Leanne, the larger Japanese one is 13x21 cm so not massive. I think the pocket sized, that Sian has is cute though.

Just checked - when I ordered them they were only in 12x12, but there are now 6x6 available to order. I'll add them to my next order, the script isn't in stock but ledger is.

I've just treated myself!! I couldn't help it, had an unexpected windfall and put it towards a BIG set of 84 Caran d'Ache watersoluble crayons (Neocolour II). I already have a set of 30 and wondered if anyone might be interested in buying these - there's so much use left in them, and only 4 of them have the paper torn down a notch to sharpen, so they haven't even had 5% use yet. They cost me £30 and I'm offering them for £17 plus postage of £3. Thought I would offer them here first before putting them on the Marketplace. I can take a picture of them if anyone wants?

Oh, they last for ever don't they. I was playing with mine on Friday. Ladies - I''d bite Rosie's hand off if I were you. (Just to buy them...not to actually bite her that is). I'm lucky enough to have the full set but it took some saving to do it.

Yes Vicki that is the one I bought in Glastonbury

I LOVE those prima papers I've had my eye on them for some time - if 6x6's come into play I may not be able to control myself Im amazed I've controlled myself re the 12x12's - now that's its come back into my mind I may not be able to.

I spent last night painting 8 backgrounds as a start in my mini Japanese moleskin - very therapeutic - messy but therpeutic

    Thank you Vicki!
Then I'll be patient and wait on the rest - the Japanese pocket, some thicker poscas, that lovely purple acrylic ink... was also looking at the inktense white, when's your next order for those? I'm really keen on the idea of layering up with no mud after your layers tutorial...
May have to pick up some more stencils too - this thread is really expensive, I've just noticed...!
Rosie - would be really interested in hearing your opinion on the difference between Neocolour and the SU Watercolour wonders - I'm got the SU ones and the Reeves ones, and find the Reeves thinner, and the SU creamier, so to speak.

You know it's funny I hardly ever use my inktense white and I've had them for donkeys years. Will be placing an order after easter most likely. Different supplier so building a shopping list first.

I find neocolors are really creamy and very vibrant. Depending what I'm doing I will also use a little white acrylic with them - especially if doing faces or something. If you've properly dissolved them you can write over them with the posca pens as well.
