It's a great idea if, as she says, you've got too many photos for one LO and you don't want to make a minibook.

You don't have to use special pockets for the photos, either - you can cut down a normal page protector and sew the edges up (or tape them, or whatever you want to do). Or you can make a concertina book without any plastic involved, and attach it to the page with a cover or a photo on the front.

Shimelle does this quite often, by the sound of it, lol. And she always suggests cutting a slit in the page protector holding the main LO, so that you can slip the extra flipflap/concertina book/whatever else, through to the outside and then look through it without having to take the whole LO out of the protector.

Shimelle aka Glitter Girl has just done a video on this very topic for Two Peas and also there were some LOs using this technique in 4x6 Photo Love last year

Oooh I like the first video but I won't be trying the second one! I've got plenty of cello bags in all different sizes for cards so I can use them yippee

I've done lots of interactive pages as I love them, but never tried them like this. I've even done a waterfall mechanism with 6x4 photos on which worked really well. I have card bags too that I didn't think of using for this so thanks for sharing the link. I always worry about having too many photos from 1 day out etc so try to incorporate different ways to add them without having too many LO's.

I do this....have done it loads on my Disney layouts as I had soooo many photos!!! On one double layout I had two lots flipping up each side...one of each landscape and portrait!!! I use We Are Memory Keepers 6x4 Ring Page Protectors. I usually put some trim on the tab bit that you stick down!!
