I just use a roller type one like you get in an office supply store Vicky. Then it last a few years as there's normally about 10 years on the year part !!

I got one very cheap on Amazon. It doesn't have a built in inky thing but I use it with my own ink pads so I can change colours if I want to!

Thanks ladies I looked in Michaels this morning and they had one like suggested but it had silly phrases on it too!!!! Well not so silly but just not what I wanted.... Shockingly I came out with nothing, that would impress hubby but I would have to admit being there in the first place

They have them is Staples too Vicky. Don't know if they have a store near you but I do know they have Staples in US.
Another thought though if you buy one over there, the date will be the wrong way round as they write the month first don't they? 1/31/2012 rather than 31/1/2012.
