    ...and another idea! Foiled embossing!

    I Distress-inked a piece of cardstock, then embossed it. Brayered the glue over the raised embossing and foiled THAT. It turned out so pretty

    I used The Essential Glue pad - I think there are a few different types of Glue pads, but that's the one *I* have

    I don't know Is the Essential Glue Pad used for gilding flakes? Anyone?

    If the flakes are the one's from Indigoblu the glue is called FlitterGlu.

    I don't see why you COULDN`'T use the FlitterGlue. I would say fill the ... is it cut&dry foam they use as a stamp pad? ... and use a brayer to get a thin even coat. I'll bet you could use the gilding flakes as easily as foil, BTW, so long as yo keep the glue just on the raised areas - light touch with the brayer, just skimming the surface.

    Might have t have a go at that - if you beat me to it, do post a photo!
