And with that, welcome to the January project for And Now for Something Completely Different!

The first different thing you might have noticed is how we're presenting this! Each project will be shown in a series of twenty steps from start to finished layout. (Step 20 is the final page... I didn't number it so you can see the whole layout without any confusion.)

And each project includes a variety of things that might be a little or a lot different for you. Give them a try and then you can see what elements you want to add into your everyday scrapping.

Things in this month's project that might be new:
*Splattering mist on the background to start
    *Using small square photographs
*Layering paint under titles and journaling
*Writing on more than one part of the page
*Adding stitches and glitter to finish the embellishment

The steps are provided so you can follow them as you go, but do feel free to vary them as you see fit. You can use your own supplies and make substitutes - just have a look and see what is the best match.

Please keep in mind that I do tuck layers under what is already there - which means I don't use an ultra-strong adhesive on my photos, for example. If you use adhesive that cannot be moved as you go, please look through all the steps first so you can make any adjustments and not be frustrated as you follow along.

And with that, I encourage you to give this a try and your own personal spin.

Upload your project to the UKScrappers gallery by the 30th of the month to be in the running for some surprises along the way.

    Any questions, just ask!

    Happy scrapping!

The photos are 2.5 inches square, so that would make the rocket square about 3 inches square, but adapt to the paper you have to suit the design.

This looks great! I am at home today and so once the chores are done will be sitting down to have a go! I've not got the rocket papers, but have made up my own kit with papers I have (feeling very virtuous that I haven't spent any money ).

Great tutorial Shimelle. Will have a go at this with some alternative stash later. A visit to Tesco is a must first though, otherwise I won't have any food to give the brain some energy
