you will have used the liquitex texture paste in Dina's workshop. It's quite a smooth one and takes a while to dry.

    Hi all

not sure if any of you are aware of the Tallest Book project, the pages I made for it are on my blog here:

    http://are-you-flowin.blogspot.com/2...made-book.html

But if you could possibly be persuaded to consider joining in, you'll be glad to hear that the deadline has now been put back to April, details on Alicia's blog here:

all for a good cause, and all that...

    hi Jill

to add photos you need to click on the little "go advanced" button underneath where you type

then scroll down and click on "manage attachments"

then "choose file" and upload your pic(s)

once they have uploaded, close the attachments box with the X at the top right

and then when you press submit reply to post your message, the photo(s) will be included

lovely page, I like the texture of the background....it makes me think of "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue"

Really pretty Jill - it makes me think of summer.

Mine from today is the opposite - really dark and grey! The one I did yesterday is quite bright - very blue! here they are. (and just in case you are wondering, yes that is me when I was little!)

    LOVE them both Claudia

I have a thing for compass roses, and I love the grungy background on the left hand one. But I also love the gorgeous rich blue, and you being a cute poppet , and the leaf on the right hand page.

Aww, thanks Flo! It feels great to be back in the AJ game!

I'm still working on my list of personal imagery/themes/words for the other half of the blue spread. It's quite an interesting exercise and has really helped me get my brain back into AJ mode.

...was that prompted by Kelly Kilmer's blog post yesterday at all? As I also spent some time flicking through my journals yesterday to find my 'signature' colours and motifs after reading her blog post.... it seems I use a lot of yellow/orange/red, lots of hand lettering for titles (too lazy to stamp lol), and circles....

No actually it was an exercise in Corey Moortgat's book 'Personal Imagery'.

But I'm going to find Kelly Kilmers' blog now, as that sounds like it might be interesting too....
