    Paper Trimmer

    Hi

My old Making Memories paper cutter is no longer as sharp as it was once and is not giving me nice clean edges.

I don't really know what is the best cutter on the market now and I am sure lots of it is down to personal preference.

So what is out there? Ideally I would like one that can score as well. Maybe additional decorative edge cutters too but not essential.

I keep hearing about the American Craft cutters but what is so special about them?

Would love to have some recommendations and idea of cost.

    Thanks

I'm not using my trimmer nearly as much since I got Tonic guillotines- I have an 8" one and a larger one. They are fab- and you can score by pressing card over the edge instead of cutting it - it leaves a good clear score.

Its got to be the Woodware trimmer - it does what it says ! AND all the extra blades could really well - and it cuts through thick chipboard and layers and layers of cardstock - love it !

Im an X-Cut guillotine girl ( Think they are called tonic now) I've got the small and large one. The small one I have had for years and used loads but it's still sharp and cuts beautifully. Only got the large one as my fiskars large trimmer became blunt and i've never been really happy with the cuts anyway. Never looked back, can't see me buying anything else again.
