cutting felt with the xcut dies?

I just bought the xcut bunting nesting dies - anyone know if they will cut felt?

Not sure if the blade will be deep enough, but has to be worth a try - I would recommend sandwiching the felt between two pieces of photocopy paper to help the edges 'bite'.

are they the thick dies or the thin spellbinder type ones...i've cut felt with both with no trouble...but i don't have any x~cut ones

i'd just try it though...you've got nothing to lose if it doesn't cut!!

it works as long as the felt isnt tooooooo thick
