    Santa, Reindeer and Sleighs

    Santa Head (Paper piecing)

Have been after a santa head that I could cut out in the appropriate colours then stick together.

I have not actually tried to cut this yet as I am in work and robo at home, so I hope that it is ok.

Hope that he is of use to someone.

I have attached a picture of what he should look like assembled so that should help you see where the many parts of him go.

Once I have cut one and assembled him I will attach another picture.

    Regards

    Louise

    Leaping Reindeers

Poor Robby has been neglected for months! So I decided to have a play, since I needed a reindeer.

Hope he and his friend are useful to someone.

    sleigh

Inspired by a card from last year.
I used the waste cut out from the runners to decorate the sleigh, and odd bits of card for the parcels.

This one is made entirely using the weld function. It was inspired by a card I saw on a blogspot, I think it was Valetas designs.

Lots of ovals for the beard bits, overlaid and welded. Pom pom, made from circles welded, fur hat border, also from ovals. The moustache wasdrawn using a closed spline, duplicated and welded.

Just shows how very simple shapes can be used to create an interesting picture.

    xx

Will upload the file soon. It's on my other laptop, so have to transfer it.

Just added the GSD file. Remade it in 2.4 for users who don't have the latest software.

    Leaping Reindeers

I saw some beautiful jewel encrusted Reindeers last week, so thought I'd try to recreate the same shape on my Robo.

I'm going to glitter them and glue them back to back, put a bit of invisible thread through the middle and hang them as window decorations.

They cut really well. Hope someone can use.

Is it too early for Christmas cards? Reindeer (Paper Piecing)

I bought my great-nieces some craft foam bags to make in the sale from a high street store and then realised that they might also make good cards especially for children to put together.
