Problem cutting with my cameo
I have had my Cameo for about 8 weeks now and I find that it is not cutting through the card or paper on the left side.
I am using it to cut out my daughters wedding invites with 300 gsm centura pearl card. It has now started doing it with the inserts and they are 160 gsm.
Do I need a new blade?

cards only
Hi Micky, I don't have a Cameo just a 330 robo, but if it was happening with the robo I would have said check your carrier sheet, sometimes if you cut a lot of the same thing in the same place you get debris, and to wash your carrier sheet or move your template a bit so that it cuts in a slightly different place might fix it, I also think, if you needed a new blade, it wouldn't be just the one side that you would have problems with.
I hope that helps you Micky, good luck.

Thank you Grace, I cleaned my mat and changed the setting slighty and I have now finished my Daughters wedding invites. I just have to remember what setting i used to cut the 300 gsm card so that I can do the evening invites

Glad I helped you Micky, I used to keep some squares of card and write the cut settings on the back until I got used to a particular type of card.

You should be able to add your own settings: Click Custom Settings on the media drop down window the use the + symbol to add your own information.

PS I think it's always worth having a spare blade and carrier sheet to hand, especially when you have a large project to work on. If you have a couple of carriers, you can be cutting on one while removing/adding your media to the other - saves you time!
