    Whch eyelet setter?

I want something cheap and cheerful to do the job, I just did NOT get along with the crop-a-dile and ended up selling it because I couldn't get it to work nicely. I don't use eyelets that often, but I do occasionally wish to use them on a project but don't want to shell out to much, considering how rarely I'll use it.

    What would you recommend?

I swear by the Fiskars (?) navy blue and lilac setters personally. Two (or maybe three, but I only use two....) in a set of sort of springy 'pen' type things (and the size of a chunky pen, so no space issues there) that you use one end for (on a mat) to make a hole and the other end to 'set' the eyelets if that is what you are making the hole for. Precision's guaranteed because they are small and perfectly formed, and all carried out with a satisfying thwunk as you ping the spring that makes you wish the person or corporation you hate at that moment was receiving as a blow to the head. Marvellous.

    Hi,
I have one here - ideal if you don't want to spend loads, and it comes with eyelets too, to get you going!
    Kind regards,

Silent Setter for me - best Christmas present ever! Should be cheap-ish now too as they are old - and three sizes of hole.

Another vote for the Silent setter - I have had mine for years and wouldn't change it. I often scrap late at night so couldn't be doing with the ones that you whack with a hammer !
