Well as a sort of introduction to myself into art journaling I made a layout using ink, mists and masks. I also bought a journal and am waiting for an order of some dylusions stuff

Sorry no. But you will have a fantastic time. I've been to loads of Anneliese's workshops.

    Very nice!

You can use dabbers as well if you have some. Dylusions are pretty much a matt version of the claudine hellmuth studio paints, but in lots of lovely colours.

Leah that is a really good way to introduce yourself to great techniques.
Love the effects you have achieved.

Vicki I know I promised you a peek at my bloghop projects on Friday but my craft room had a bit of a makeover due to new desks arriving early however, they are now built and in place so hopefully a blog update will happen tomorrow. Everyone who has seen the 2 journals I have done are waiting for me to link into your tutorial and want make their own journals.

Duh, it did it again. I think you've all gone quiet and then I discover the thread has rolled . I've been a bit quiet myself - my journal mojo had gone off somewhere, but seems to have come back in the past couple of days! Thank goodness, I've been lost without it! Now I'm in the mood for some backgrounds and general playing .....

I would have gone as it is right near my Aunt's place and my sister is just up the road too (good excuse to visit) but I've already booked a weekend away to hit the town with my wingman (read incoming hangover!)

I have the mojo, it's time I seem to be short on. Oh - and desk space. I know it's there somewhere and I intend to find it again later in this week. I've made a promise to myself.

Likewise. I'm dying to play with the paints etc I picked up at AFTH but I'm in the middle of a (long-overdue) major tidy up and reorganise in my craft room so there's stuff EVERYWHERE and the desk is well and truly buried!

yep - that sounds familiar. I reorganised my desk last year - moved all the scrappy stuff safely into a wardrobe Dh shelved out for me so it was away from paints and spray inks. I'm just not a very tidy crafter...ok ...person. I did the blog hop project at the kitchen table

Well I was in a plaster cast for 10 weeks, so I am ignoring the housework, except for the essential stuff, and doing all the things I thought up while out of action. The housework won't run away

Finally uploaded my bloghop projects HERE I really did enjoy your project Vicki.
I will certainly be doing some more journals soon.
I will no doubt update again soon with my crafty space transformation whilst I can still get a photo of it in it's tidy state!
