    Album Bag

    Random Question, sorry

What does everyone store their albums in while they are still in the process of being completed?
I've bought a beautiful one from craft island, and now I'm petrified of getting it dirty

Can you buy album storage bags?!
    Am I a freak?! lol

I dont store them in wrappers of any description but put them in my expedit too. Depends if you have anywhere to keep them though, a pillowcase would keep it dust free if you havent got a craft room to leave it lying in. Soon your crafting will take over and you will find that your stuff will expand and you will need boxes etc to keep everything in ...

Oh gosh what didnt I buy loads of papers, and page protectors, and 4"x6" photo protectors to go in a 12" x 12" album, and some gorgeous little miss muffet bits, but my absolute fave which I am TRES in lurve with is my new American Crafts embroidered raspberry album!

Pillow case is a good idea I like that one.

Hi, Something I do is use a less chic (AKA cheap) album as my 'work in progress album' to protect the pages as I create & then move the pages over to the special album. Need to make sure the page protectors are the same size though as some manufacturers are slightly different (by a few mm) in size - you don't want to be trimming down your lovely LOs if they don't fit. I also use an Ikea expedit for my albums (top shelf away from grubby fingers and coffee spills!!!).

thats a really really good idea, thanks Brummie40. I guess that I could just move the page protectors across as well to save that problem...

I really must get myself one of the Ikea shelving units! It seems they are all the rage!

Well..... sorry, but yes, you are.

But don't worry, the rest of us are too! We get ya I've never seen a 'proper' bag for an album but I use a lot of reuseable shopping bags for my stash (to transport to crops) and I'm sure you could find one that would be the right size for an album so go through the ones you've got or have a look what shops have when you're out and about

haha thanks Taniwha! I think I agree with you!

I dunno why I didnt think of something as obvious as that. I think I was so fixated on something that is made for the job, I didnt think of something that would do the job just as well!! hmmm not to have a look through what I have!
    Thank you
